This intensive songwriting and composition workshop is open for anyone who is interested in songwriting and composition, and haven't had a chance to explore it or have no clue where to begin. Perhaps you are a songwriter who's just starting out, and don't know how to market your work online or secure gigs. Or maybe you've been playing around on Logic/ProTools for a while using the sample library, but have never actually worked with live instruments, and you also want to learn how to set up a recording studio at home etc. Wherever you're at or are looking to be, this workshop aims to cater a wide variety of topics and practical knowledge, which will better equip you as an independent artist/composer/producer.

This workshop consists of one-to-one sessions with guest artists and group seminars with topics related to songwriting, performance, recording, business, marketing, and the music industry. The participants get to have a one-on-one session daily with the workshop leaders to work on their song(s), which will be recorded by the end of the workshop. In addition, the workshop will be documented so the participants can use the media content for their own portfolio, which will be useful for promoting their work online later on.

As a participant, you will have the opportunity to compose new parts or arrange for multiple instruments, and learn how to communicate your ideas clearly to the producer and session players in a professional context. This hands-on experience will offer the participant an environment to grow in confidence in taking initiatives and making decisions, as well as learning the importance of studio etiquette when working with live musicians and other artists.

Since community is a huge part of what we do and believe in, the participants and workshop leaders will be sharing a house together in the countryside, where the workshop will take place. This means we would be able to cook and spend mealtimes together, and to get to know each other better. This is not just an ordinary workshop where people spend a few days writing together, but we are inviting other like-minded people to being a part of this special community of artists, to pursue freedom, vulnerability and beauty through creativity.

As spaces are very limited (not kidding!), please apply as soon as possible if you are interested. We will be selecting participants on a first-come-first-serve basis, and we wouldn't want you to miss out on this occassion. Late submissions will not be considered. Please also note there is a £25 non-refundable application fee to cover the administration cost.

We see this as an invaluable investment towards your personal life and interests, such as music, creative business, nature and community. We also want to support and invest into the artists who are partnering with us on this workshop, who will be giving out their time to share their wisdom and experience from their own journeys.
