About time

Now I must not forget to say a very happy birthday to all the Winter babies. I hope you're enjoying the cold as much as I am. I have this theory that the season we prefer tends to be the one we were born in. You may argue, but fall is the prettiest season of all. With central heating, it's basically summer indoors and Christmas outside. Moreover, hot chocolate automatically switches from being an indulgence to a core means of survival. So really, what's not to like?  [See recipe below]




Recipe for a perfectly guilt-free cup of hot chocolate (GF/SF/DF):

2 cups of Almond Milk (organic and unsweetened, preferred brand: Plenish+)
2 tbs of Raw Cacao Powder
1 tsp of Honey (organic Manuka or other types)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
A pinch of salt
(optional: a pinch of cayenne pepper powder for a spicy kick)

Whipped cream:
A can of Coconut Cream/Milk (organic and full fat)
2 tsp of Honey (organic Manuka or other types)
1/2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
